An Online Worker's Blog Page

Experiences on a daily basis of an online worker

Welcome to My Virtual Space

This blog serves as my free wall in expressing my experience on a daily basis being an 8-5 worker and VA at night. It has been a few years back when i started working online, all started with a foreign client from Belarus, Minsk who trusted and believe in my talent as a graphic artist and after that i got more projects from different clients. As an online worker I had been to projects like graphic design,SEO works and virtual assistant task. I can say that my few years as an online worker has given me enough knowledge to understand different design requirements of East and Western cultures. I had work for various clients and maintain them throughout these years. For those who wanted to hire me on a project basis you can email me at polet_2001@yahoo.com and I am very much accommodating to your requirements as long as it would be both beneficial for your business and for my career growth. I will be looking forward in doing business with you. For those starting to work online you can also find tips on my page occasionally. Hope you enjoy visiting my blog page. Thank you.

PayBox: New PTC Program

A friend told me that there is a new ptc program. I checked on it and its name is PayBox .  I am a bit surprised on the amount they are giving out for the early birds. The only downside of it is that they have no assurance when the early birds can claim the amount since they are on the early stage of developing the product. If Paybox is real, its a good deal. But for now all i can do is to wait and see.

My Blog Page's New Look

It took me a year to change the design of my blog. I can say that i myself cant believe that i exactly has expressed the design i wanted for my blog to have this year. This exactly portrays my vision for this blog that through the strokes of a pen, a blurry thoughts can be translated to words and be expressed to readers.

I also rearrange some of the widgets and added real-time news that interests me most. I hope you like it too. Hope you enjoy to navigate the pages of this blog.

People are people

Attitude. All humans have this. In your everyday life, have you been annoyed by people who are careless not thinking how they hurt other people the way they are?

Just today I am very disappointed with a friend who wanted to talk about bad things about others. I don’t know if such conversation delights him, but for me, it really makes me feel bad. So I ended up hanging the phone and told him to cut short of the topic and for us to speak again when he already have something nice to say. But later on, I had a second thought that I should have not got mad at him and respect his opinion. Though if I never speak to him the way I did, he would do the same thing over and over again.

We have different preference on the way we wanted other people to treat us but of course we can’t blame them. We should consider their personal experience and environment too. They are a reflection of the society where they belong. What makes them special is the way they are.
Each of us is special and conflicts arise when things are not amenable for two parties concerned.

Our culture separates us from one another. It is not always advisable to be polite as all times for we are just human beings with feelings too. Though we should also consider that we are students of life and learning is a hard and continuous process. As a child of life, we should have broader understanding of people.

A positive attitude towards life is really a good thing. But we should also remember that negative attitude refines and critic our flaws to be a better person. That is how the balance of nature works.

My Perception of Love

Love really is an unexplainable thing, on how it makes each of us feel. The thrill really is fun but true love when unfamiliar acquaintance is already gone, is the feeling of security that you know that will never let you down whatever happens.
Loving sometimes doesn’t mean keeping the person you love but letting him or her go to what will make things better for the one you love even if it means your happiness.

For some, letting go is a sadness and a curse. But if we think it over, it is a gift from above that measures our depth as a person that makes us completely a human being. Emptiness leads us to search and get closer to what our heart desires. Sometimes we never feel how important a person is to our life not until that person is already been gone.

Sometimes loving is too selfish in the sense that you wanted all the best for the one you love that you never give the person you love the chance to love you back. For you know that there’s no chance at all.

Most of the time, we choose to dream than to take action because it will just hurt us, though sometimes it’s worth trying.
Life is a journey that we never know where it will lead us to find and love someone in open-arms no matter what. Even if we know that there’s no guarantee of forever.

Lessons from tragic death

With regards to the recent hostage-taking drama resulting to death of some foreign nationals, I wanted to extend my sympathy and prayers to the families of the aggrieved parties, to the families of the Hongkong Nationalities as well as to the family of Captain Rolando Mendoza.

I went to the office of my mom 8 in the evening and became interested on what they were watching on TV. I got curious and asked what was the live telecast all about and was surprised to the response of my mother. Without looking at me, my mom told me that an ex-captain had detained a tourist bus with Hongkong Nationality-passengers for about 8 hours in exchange for his reinstatement to PNP service. It is a simple yet wishful thinking in my thought. I wanted express my apology in advance for I really have to admit that watching the hostage taking drama is like watching a comedy show with the actuation established by those people involved on the said situation. Not only those of what the uniformed personnel did, but as well as the by standers and the media personnel actuation. Honestly I feel guilty for watching while laughing the said situation, with the policemen trying to intrude the bus half-hearted, it is no joke for several lives was at stake on that very night. I can’t either blame the present government for the incompetence of the PNP Personnel for he only had his position not more than 100 days, so as those PNP personnel thinking also of their safety for they have too their own families.
Being also an only child of a great ex-policeman, I knew how Captain Mendoza felt, for my dad had been on the same problem of having the possibility of being relieved from the service despite of his big contribution to the institution he had served for about 20 years before his retirement though not as serious of what Captain Mendoza’s case. I knew how it felt for Captain Mendoza for I had seen it with my Dad before. I knew how it would ruin not only a person’s self-esteem but his whole personality as well. My dad was more fortunate to have his early retirement in contrast to the miserable end of Captain Mendoza.

This event really is a tragic to all Filipinos yet, I am still hoping that this would also serve as our lesson to be responsible not only to our profession but as well as to each one of us. There’s no point of crying over a spilled milk and pointing fingers of who’s to blame. Maybe we should stop thinking of ourselves alone. The bloody event has taken it course maybe it’s time that we as people do our part stop, listen to our heart and think over so that there would no another Captain Mendoza in the future not only for the sake of our country but being a person with sense of social responsibility. Laws and procedures are made but for some circumstances, we people have the ability to change it for the betterment of all. Sometimes it’s better for us to make some decisions consulting our human side because life cannot be brought back when already taken.
