It was not so long ago when an earthquake hit Haiti and took hundreds of lives. Now, another earthquake had shook the ground and hit the rich country of Chile- a country lying in South America having the Pacific Ocean on its west. With an 8.8 magnitude it has been recorded as one of the strongest earthquakes in the history.
After the said earth movement, a tsunami scare had spreadout within the 50 countries lying in the Pacific region. One of those countries was Philippines.
The good thing about Pinoys, they are now emotionally mature and value their safety against their possession as they had voluntarily leave their houses.The proper authorities had smoothly facilitated the evacuation of
people living on shore without any resistance.
After the Tsunami alert was flagged down, people were then advised that they are safe to go back to their houses but some still remain on evacuation centers in fear that there will still be another surge.
Let us hope and pray that this would be the last major calamity to hit the world for we are not yet fully recovered of the recent tragedies that had cause loss of lives and lamentation to some people affected by the said natural calamities.
